My name is Matt Guyette and I’m a Brand Identity Designer. I love creating designs that complement a company's values, enhancing their inherent strength and power. I specialize in logo design and visual identity, but consider myself multidisciplinary. When I was younger, I was always drawing logos and brochures in a sketch book. I had no idea that I was actually designing. I never knew what a graphic designer was, or that you could even make money from it. When I was about 18 or 19 years old, I formally discovered graphic design.
Being from western New York, there weren't many options for me in the design industry, or even any art schools (that I could afford). So, I tracked down an old copy of Adobe Creative Suite and enrolled in the YouTube School of Design. Shortly after, I put together a portfolio and started designing for a family owned sales and marketing company. After a few years, I decided I needed a formal education in design and enlisted in the Army for educational benefits.
